General organisation settings

Who can do this: administrators and owners.

What it does

General is a stack of small settings. Each one saves by itself.

Under Organisation Name, a section headed “What does your organisation do?” takes a short description of the business. The heading uses your organisation’s name.

Whichever Customisation you choose, Lucrii keeps stock, locations and purchase orders.

Hermes AI is worded as consent because the processing happens through external AI services. With Hermes off and quests on, the Ask Hermes button reads Search. With both off, it disappears. Asking Hermes describes the button. Turning off Hermes or achievements also takes that feature’s quests out of the offers, and the Quest Chart shows them as question marks.

Quests is a row of three cards at the foot of the page. Offered lets Hermes offer a quest a couple of seconds after a member opens a screen that has one. On request keeps quests on the Quest Chart until a member starts one, and Hermes never offers them. Off takes quests away for the whole organisation.

A demo organisation follows the Quests choice of the organisation it was created from. Inside a demo, the cards show that choice. You cannot change them there. The line above them names the organisation to change it on.

Before you start

Administrator or above. Below that role, the settings menu has no link to General. The page shows a message saying you do not have permission to change organisation settings.

An organisation always has a currency. You can’t save Default Currency blank.

Organisation Name can be up to 100 characters. The description under “What does your organisation do?” and the Email Signature can be up to 5,000 characters each. A count shows under them from 4,500.

Services Only renames Sales Order to Invoice everywhere. Goods Only and Goods and Services both keep the name Sales Order. The figures on the orders lists follow the same choice.

The Hermes switch is only the organisation’s half of the decision. On a cloud deployment, the plan must include Hermes as well before the features appear.

Switching achievements off resets the achievements panel for everyone. It takes levels, achievements and the leaderboard off the My Progress page, and the Experience and Achievements sections off member pages.

The quests setting is the only quest control, and it applies to every member. Offered and On request both fill the Quest Chart for everyone. Off empties it for everyone.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings, then General under Organisation.
  2. Change one setting. A text setting has its own button, such as Rename Organisation or Save Signature.
  3. Pick a currency, country, timezone, business type or quests card. It saves as you pick it.
  4. Wait for the save to report success. Orders, dates and amounts use the new value at once.
  • Your profile: Edit your name, email, picture, personal email signature and password on the profile page.
  • Plan, usage and payment: See your plan, seats, usage against the plan limits, Hermes AI credits and storage, and manage how you pay.
  • Taxes: Add the tax rates your orders charge, each with a name and a percentage.
