Who can do this: anyone in the organisation, on the Early Access plan.

## What it does

Hermes answers from your records, and it changes them when you ask. Each thing it does is a named tool. The Tools row under an answer lists the tools that ran, with a tick or a cross against them. Opening the row shows what went in, and the error where one came back. A bulk action, an export, or a job Hermes reads or lists shows under the reply instead. Its line says what happened, such as Checked 4 quotes, and its card is below that line.

Reading. `search_records` matches keywords such as a name, a reference or a SKU. `semantic_search` takes a description of what you are after. `get_record_details` opens one order, contact, item or task. `get_notes` reads the notes on a record, and `task_list` filters tasks. `kanban_board_list` and `kanban_board_get` read your boards.

Pages and plans. `navigate_to_record` takes you to a record when you ask to see it. `open_page` opens a page of the app, such as your Quest Chart, when you ask to go there. It also opens one job, order, contact, item or task. `todo_write` posts the plan Hermes is working through when a request runs to three steps or more.

Help and quests. `product_help` looks up how a feature works and answers from Lucrii's help pages. Where nothing covers the question, it says so. `start_quest` opens the walkthrough for a quest id that `product_help` reported. It runs only when you ask to be shown.

Remembering. `remember`, `forget` and `remember_nickname` hold what you tell Hermes between conversations.

Orders and contacts. `create_order` opens a quote, a sales order or a purchase order. `update_order` changes an order's fields, its line items and its discount. The same tool adds and removes tags and watchers. It also records the decision on a quote, won or lost. `create_contact` and `update_contact` cover customers and vendors.

Inventory. `create_item` and `update_item` cover the catalogue. `adjust_stock` moves stock up or down for an item or a variant at one location.

Bulk actions. `preview_bulk_action` checks a change against every record it would touch and reports what would change. `run_bulk_action` runs it once you approve. `start_export` exports records to a CSV file. `start_import` opens the import for the kind of record you name. `get_job`, `list_jobs` and `summarise_job_errors` report on bulk actions, exports and imports. `preview_bulk_action`, `run_bulk_action`, `start_export` and `get_job` show a card under the reply with the job's counts. Once the job ends, the card links to its page in Bulk Activity. `list_jobs` lists the jobs, each linked to its page there.

Notes. `add_note` writes to an order, contact, item or location, and `task_add_note` writes to a task.

Tasks. `task_create`, `task_update`, `task_status`, `task_complete`, `task_assign` and `task_delete` cover the task itself. `task_add_tag` and `task_remove_tag` change its tags. `task_add_watcher` and `task_remove_watcher` change who is following it. `task_link_parent` and `task_unlink_parent` point a task at the record it belongs to. `task_remove_from_board` takes it off a board without deleting it.

Boards. `kanban_board_create`, `kanban_board_update` and `kanban_board_delete` cover the board. `kanban_column_create`, `kanban_columns_create`, `kanban_column_update`, `kanban_column_delete`, `kanban_column_clear` and `kanban_column_sort` cover its columns. `kanban_move_task` puts a task in a column.

## Before you start

Hermes will not send a quote or set an order status by itself. It records the decision on a quote, won or lost. Sending, and any other status change, happens on the order page or through a bulk action you approve after its preview.

Hermes and an MCP client give each date as YYYY-MM-DD. Lucrii reads it as that day in your organisation's timezone.

Hermes and an MCP client meet the same limits as the forms. Lucrii refuses a longer value, and Hermes passes on the message, which gives the field and its limit.

Hermes can delete. Deleting a task deletes its notes with it. Deleting a board deletes its columns, and the tasks that were on it stay in the task list. Ask for either only when you mean it.

An MCP client reaches the same AI through `lucrii_ask`, `lucrii_summarize` and `lucrii_semantic_search`. It spends from the same credits as your questions to Hermes.

## How to use it

1. Ask for what you want in plain words. Hermes picks the tools itself.
2. Read the Tools row under the answer to see what it touched.
3. Select the row to open it, and select a tool inside it for the detail of that call.
4. Open the record to check anything for yourself. The page behind the panel reloads after a turn that changed records.

## Troubleshooting

Hermes refuses to create something because of a plan limit. It says so in a sentence in the conversation, with no error. It will not say which limit you hit. Check the billing page for that.
