## What it does

Assignee, in the card at the top right of a task, sets the team the task belongs to and the person on it. Lucrii offers only people from that team.

Changing the team keeps the person if they are in the new team. If they are not, Lucrii unassigns them and says why on the timeline.

The status buttons are in the header. A task starts Assigned. Start Work on Task moves it to In Progress. Put Task on Hold moves it to On Hold, and Resume Work on Task brings it back. Complete Task appears only while the task is in progress. A completed task offers Reopen Task.

Complete Task opens a window for an optional closure note. Skip completes the task without one. The note goes on the task's timeline.

The Watchers card shows who follows the task. Start Watching adds you, and Stop Watching takes you off. Hermes can add a colleague by name or email.

More Actions in the header holds View Audit History, View Bulk Activity, Remove from board and Delete. View Audit History opens the task's dated list of changes in a new tab. Remove from board shows only while the task is on a board, and only to someone who can change that board. Delete asks you to confirm first.

## Before you start

A task or an order can have up to 250 watchers. Lucrii refuses one more with "A record can have up to 250 watchers."

Only a team leader and above can delete a task. Anyone else finds Delete in More Actions greyed out, with a tooltip saying why.

The status buttons depend on the task. Start, hold, resume, complete and reopen go to the person the task is assigned to and to a manager of its team. Anyone in that team can also start a task while it has no assignee.

Starting an unassigned task in your own team assigns it to you first. If a manager starts someone else's task, only the status changes. The assignee stays as it was.

## How to use it

1. Open a task from the Tasks tab or from a card on a board.
2. Under Assignee, pick the team, then the person.
3. Select Start Work on Task when you pick the work up.
4. Select Put Task on Hold if it stalls, and Resume Work on Task when it moves again.
5. Select Complete Task. Write a closure note and select Complete, or select Skip.
6. Select Start Watching on the Watchers card to follow the task.

The header's up and down arrows open the task before and after it in the list you came from. A task opened from a link has no list behind it, so the arrows are not there.

## Troubleshooting

A status button you expect is missing, and a line above the header says the teams that decide your task actions could not be loaded. Lucrii could not read your teams. It shows only the buttons you get as the assignee. Without that line, a missing button is one you are not allowed to use.
